Hi all

After a long absence - I logged on to DA to check out some amazing art as I used to do a few years back.

To my disappointment it seems that the site has been bombarded and over run with really really bad and amateur nude photography.

Now - don't get me wrong - Im not at all against nude photography. On the contrary - there are some amazing nude photographers on DA who really captures the human form artistically and stylistically.

Im against a 18 year old girl just taking a blurry grainy photo with her phone of her tits and posting it on DA. (And a swarm of adolescent boys faving the pic for obvious reasons that doesn't include art.) Or some dude who get desperate girls to take their clothes off and take really bad photos of them (in really explicit positions) and post it online.

Im really really disappointing that the DA admins haven't put stricter rules in place for this site - not just regarding nude photography - but just regarding the quality level of art on the site in general. Back in the day - DA was a rockin underground site that was basically filled with awesome art. Now - its filled with a lot of crap that's just diluting it.

Has DA become so greedy that they just want more and more people to join the site (even if they will only contribute crap) ? Have they completely lost the essence of what the site was originally intended for?

I used to love just browsing through the latest deviations - now I just get bombarded with bad composition, grainy, low quality, non artistic, no-concept, perverted, fuckin pathetic pics of people trying to make themselves feel better about their loser life.

Or maybe thats just me (and im not "artistic" enough to see the beauty in those pics)
