Some fanatic (Bible.ca) claimed that you MUST be baptized.
He insisted that the penitent thief on a cross had been an apostated,baptized disciple of Christ who repented at the 12th hour. He also insisted that you could traveling to your baptism, get killed before you get there -and then burn in hell for not being baptized.

I took serious exception on that and he was a factor in my becoming an atheist over 2 years ago. I believe in the soul, but I am an atheist.
